Welcome to SwimNow (hereinafter referred to as the "App", "we", "us", or "our"). We deeply understand that your personal privacy is of paramount importance, and we are committed to processing your data in a transparent and secure manner. This Privacy Policy is designed to explain how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use SwimNow.

Your continued use of our App will be deemed as your acceptance of our practices regarding privacy and personal information. You are free to refuse our request to collect your personal information, but please understand that this may result in us being unable to provide you with certain services you expect.

1. Our "Data Minimalism and Local-First" Principle

To maximize the protection of your privacy, SwimNow adheres to extremely strict data storage principles: Except for sync data that must be temporarily cached due to the mandatory requirements of third-party APIs (such as Garmin Connect), we do not store any of your sports data on our own servers. All your other data is stored exclusively on your local device, Apple Health, and your personal iCloud account.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with core swimming recording and analysis services, we only collect necessary data. Specifically, this includes:

  • Personal Basic Information: Age and gender. This information is solely used to provide you with more accurate and personalized swimming data analysis.

  • Swimming Data Recorded within the App: If you solely use this App to record your activities, we collect workout records including but not limited to your swim duration, distance, lap count, pace, stroke type, stroke count, and SWOLF (swimming efficiency index).

  • Data Imported via Third-Party Devices/Platforms: If you connect to third-party health platforms (see Section 4), we will obtain specific health and location data (e.g., heart rate, GPS tracks) authorized by that platform.

Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy or explicitly authorized by you, we will not actively collect your precise geolocation (GPS), contacts, or other private data unrelated to swimming activities.

3. How We Use Your Information

The sole purpose of collecting the above information is to provide and optimize the SwimNow services for you, which includes:

  • Recording and Analysis: Recording your daily swimming activities, generating workout reports, and helping you track your swimming progress and improve your performance.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advanced Analysis: Only when you actively tap or use the AI analysis feature within the App, will we invoke third-party AI technology (see Section 5) to conduct an in-depth performance evaluation and provide technique tips based on your sports data. If you do not actively initiate this feature, your data will never be sent to any AI interface.

4. Data Import and Third-Party Health Platform Integration (Including Garmin Special Terms)

To allow you to manage your sports data more comprehensively and freely, SwimNow supports local data import as well as integration with Apple Health and Garmin.

  • Local Data Import and Apple Health

    • Apple Health Core Integration: When you actively choose to import sports data files locally from your device, upon parsing this data, the App will save it directly into your Apple Health database.

    • This data will absolutely not be uploaded to our servers. It is processed and stored entirely on your local device and within your personal iCloud environment.

    • Health Data Usage Restrictions: We will absolutely not use data written to or acquired through HealthKit for advertising or similar services. We will absolutely not sell your HealthKit data to advertising platforms or data brokers. Our sole purpose for using HealthKit data is to provide or improve health or fitness-related app services.

  • Garmin Connect Special Terms If you are a user of our swimming app and connect your Garmin account to our services, with your authorization, we may access specific personal health and fitness data ("Data") from your Garmin Connect account. This Data may include, but is not limited to: swimming activity records (such as pool laps, stroke counts, SWOLF), heart rate, rest intervals, training duration, calorie consumption, GPS swimming tracks, and device usage information.

    We collect and use this Data solely to provide and enhance your swimming training experience. Specifically, the Data will be used for the following purposes:

    • Analyzing your swimming performance and providing personalized insights.

    • Displaying complete training history and trend charts.

    • Logging detailed single training data to help track progress.

    • Providing training plan suggestions based on data analysis.

    • Integrating with other fitness data to present a comprehensive health overview.

    • Ensuring the proper operation and stability of app functionality and data synchronization.

5. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Services and Data Processing

To provide you with in-depth performance analysis, SwimNow integrates third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) API services:

  • Triggered Entirely by You: We do not analyze your data automatically or secretly in the background. The system will securely transmit the minimum swimming data required for the analysis to the third-party AI provider only when you actively initiate an AI analysis request.

  • Strictly De-identified: Because we do not collect your identity information such as your name or contact details, the data transmitted to the AI is completely anonymous and de-identified, thereby protecting your privacy to the greatest extent.

  • Third-Party Processing Statement: Please be aware that when you actively use the AI feature, the anonymized sports data you transmit will be subject to the privacy policy of the third-party AI service provider (e.g., the provider of the Large Language Model API) and may be used by them to provide or improve their AI services. Because the data is strictly de-identified, your personal identity will not face any risk of leakage.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

SwimNow offers in-app purchases or subscription services to unlock premium features. When you make a purchase, all payment transactions are securely encrypted and processed directly by Apple's underlying payment system (Apple App Store). We do not collect, process, and will absolutely not touch any of your financial or payment information (including your credit card number, Apple ID password, bank account, or billing address). The app store will only sync an anonymous order purchase receipt to our system (for example: notifying us that a user has successfully subscribed) so that we can unlock the corresponding premium features in the App for you.

7. Data Storage, Security, and Revocation (Important Notes)

We have the utmost respect for your data sovereignty and implement the following data management strategies:

  • Fully Relying on Local and Apple Ecosystem Storage (Non-Garmin Data): Whether it is data you manually record or swimming data imported via local files, they are saved directly in the local Apple Health database on your phone and may be synced to your personal iCloud through your system-level settings. We do not provide or use any cloud servers owned by us to back up or store this data. The security of your iCloud data is guaranteed by Apple Inc.

  • Temporary Caching of Garmin Data: To comply with Garmin's API requirements and achieve cross-platform data synchronization, we will only temporarily cache the Garmin data you authorize. We will absolutely not sell your Garmin data to any third party.

  • Revoking Permissions and Data Deletion: You can revoke your consent at any time through your Garmin account settings, Apple device system settings, or within our App. After you revoke your authorization, we will stop accessing your data and immediately delete all personal identity and Garmin sync information temporarily cached on our servers, unless otherwise required by law. Because your core data is stored in Apple Health, even if you uninstall this App, you can autonomously manage and delete this data in the iOS built-in "Health" app or iCloud backup settings.

  • Security Protection: For necessary network transmissions (such as connecting to the Garmin API or calling the AI API), we adopt industry-standard security measures (such as HTTPS/TLS encryption technology) to protect your data and prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

8. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We absolutely do not sell any of your personal data. We only share your information in the following rare circumstances:

  • Based on your active instructions and authorization, when you actively trigger sending anonymized data to third-party AI APIs for computation.

  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or mandatory government requests.

9. Children's Privacy

SwimNow is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable statutory age in your country/region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian discovers that their child has provided us with personal information, please contact us for deletion.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App's features update or as required by laws and regulations. If there are significant changes, we will send you a prominent notification within the App.

    • Apple Health 核心集成：当您主动选择从设备本地导入运动数据文件时，本应用在解析这些数据后，会将其直接存入您的 Apple Health（Apple 健康）数据库中。

    • 此类数据绝对不会上传至我们的服务器。 它们完全在您的设备本地以及您个人的 iCloud 环境中进行处理和存储。

    • 健康数据使用限制：我们绝不会将通过 HealthKit 写入或获取的数据用于广告宣传或类似服务。我们绝不会将其出售给广告平台或数据经纪人。我们使用 HealthKit 数据的唯一目的是提供或改进与健康或健身相关的应用服务。

  • 完全由您主导触发：我们不会在后台自动或偷偷地分析您的数据。系统仅在您主动发起 AI 分析请求时，才会将执行分析所必需的最少游泳数据安全地传输给第三方 AI 提供商。

  • 严格去标识化：由于我们本身不收集您的姓名、联系方式等身份信息，传输给 AI 的数据是完全匿名且去标识化的，以此最大程度地保护您的隐私。

  • 第三方处理说明：请您知悉，当您主动使用 AI 功能时，您传输的匿名化运动数据将受提供该 API 的第三方 AI 服务商自身隐私政策的约束，并可能被其用于提供或改进其人工智能服务。由于数据已严格去标识化，您的个人身份不会因此面临泄露风险。

6. 应用内购买与订阅 (In-App Purchases)

即刻游 提供解锁高级功能的应用内购买或订阅服务。当您进行购买时，所有的支付交易均由苹果公司（Apple App Store）的底层支付系统直接进行加密处理。 我们不收集、不处理且绝不接触您的任何财务或支付信息（包括您的信用卡号、Apple ID 密码、银行账户及账单地址等）。应用商店仅会向我们的系统同步一份匿名的订单购买凭证（例如：通知我们该用户已成功订阅），以便我们为您解锁相应的应用内高级功能。

7. 数据的存储、安全与撤销 (重要说明)

我们极其尊重您的数据主权，并实施以下数据管理策略：

  • 完全依赖本地及 Apple 生态存储 (非佳明数据)：无论是您手动记录的数据，还是通过本地文件导入的游泳数据，均直接保存在您的手机本地 Apple Health 数据库中，并可能通过您的系统级设置同步至您个人的 iCloud 中。我们不提供也不使用任何属于我们自有的云端服务器来备份或存储这些数据。 您的 iCloud 数据的安全性由 Apple Inc. 提供保障。

  • 佳明数据的临时缓存：为了遵守 Garmin 的接口要求并实现数据跨平台同步，我们仅仅会临时缓存您授权的佳明数据。我们绝不将您的佳明数据出售给任何第三方。

  • 撤销权限与数据删除：您可以随时通过您的 Garmin 账户设置、Apple 设备系统设置或在我们的应用程序内撤销同意。在您撤销授权后，我们将停止访问您的数据，并立即删除临时缓存于服务器上的所有个人身份及佳明同步信息，除非法律另有规定。 因为您的核心数据存在 Apple Health 中，即便您卸载本应用，您也能够自主在 iOS 系统自带的“健康”App 或 iCloud 备份设置中管理和删除这些数据。

  • 安全保护：对于必要的网络传输（如连接佳明接口或调用 AI API），我们采取行业标准的安全措施（如 HTTPS/TLS 加密技术）保护您的数据，防止未经授权的访问、披露、篡改或破坏。

8. 信息的共享与披露

我们绝不出售您的任何个人数据。 我们仅在以下极少数情况下共享您的信息：

  • 根据您的主动指示与授权，在您主动触发时发送至第三方 AI API 进行匿名计算。

9. 儿童隐私

即刻游 并非专为 13 岁（或您所在国家/地区规定的相关法定年龄）以下的儿童设计。我们不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。如果家长发现其孩子向我们提供了个人信息，请联系我们删除。
