How to Pause an Apple Watch Workout While Swimming

When tracking a swimming workout on your Apple Watch, the Water Lock feature is automatically enabled to prevent accidental screen touches. However, you can still easily pause your workout without needing to eject the water first.
Here is how to set up and use the quick pause feature:

Step 1: Enable the "Press to Pause" Setting
Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
Scroll down and tap on Workout.
Toggle on Press to Pause.
Step 2: Pause During Your Swim
While your swimming workout is active, press the Digital Crown and the Side button simultaneously.
Just a quick press is all you need—do not hold the buttons down.
